Left to study in the US at age 14. June 2004, graduated Lawrence Academy (Groton, Massachusetts). June 2008, graduated Boston University, College of Art and Science with a BA in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (Boston, Massachusetts). March 2015, graduated from Juntendo University (Tokyo, Japan) with an MD. May 2020, received a degree with Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) from Cornell University (Ithaca, New York). March 2021, received a degree with MBA from Graduate School of Management, Kyoto University (Kyoto, Japan), March 2022, received a degree with PhD from Kagoshima University Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences.

◆ Self Interest

He has started playing the piano at the age of 3 and was invited to perform at the Mitsukoshi Department Store in Kagoshima at the age of 5. (Chopin’s Polonaise No.1 Op.26). He received the Outstanding Performance Award at the 15th and 17th South Japan Junior Piano Competition and an Honorable Mention Award at the 12th Japan Young Artist Piano Competition Amateur Division, and performed with the Poland National Orchestra (Polska orkiestra kameralna z Krakowa, Kagoshima Cultural Hall) at the age of 13.

During his time studying abroad in the US, he received first place at the Harvard Musical Association’s 2004 High School Achievement Award and performed at the Winners Commemoration Concert in Boston. He has also participated in the General Division of the 13th International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia. In 2005, he has performed with the Littleton Orchestra (Liszt, Piano Concerto No. 1, Lawrence Academy).

After returning to Japan, he has performed with the Poland Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra (Chopin, Piano Concerto No. 1, Houzan Hall) in 2013, Hama-kun to Nakamatachi Orchestra (Rachmaninoff, Piano Concerto No. 2, 4th SP Classic Concert, Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre) in 2018, and the MBC Youth Orchestra (Rachmaninoff, Piano Concerto No. 2, Ms.  Kazuko Togo Retirement Celebratory Concert, Ibusuki Bayhills) in 2019.
